Same old thing

Back to the same old thing... redecorating the walls.  I have spray painted so much lately that I have a crook in my index finger. Totally kidding, thank God! Just spray painted a frame yesterday and realized it was the 5th color.  When will I ever be done???  Never it is an obsession and I love it.  I get sick of things really fast.(hubby better be very scared).  You will see a lot of my decor used in my photography also, such a money saver.  Here is a pic of the wall redo that I previously posted, it is another redo:

Next, the redo of the tv wall:  not loving it. Not done with it yet...

The antique dresser I repainted, homemade tree, and Brook's painting from 3rd grade(makes me smile).

My collage wall redo!!

The ugly end table, revived!  Another reason to love spray paint:)

My Halloween centerpiece, my awesome PB look alike skulls vase filler. Got a bag of these for 50cents.  A loooot  cheaper than PB:)

I did one other Fall project today, no pics yet.  It didn't turn out quite right.  I am not a quitter though, lol.

Chalk Board Fun!!

I have been wanting a chic chalkboard in my dining room or by my front door.  I knew what I wanted, but couldn't find it for the right price(free). Seriously, though I have been looking at garage sales for a while and then the other day it hit me.  I had just painted an empty frame yellow and it didn't look good where I had it anymore, but I loved the way it looked in general, even used it for a photo shoot.  Was about to repaint and then I realized it was exactly what I have been looking for to make my chic fancy chalkboard.  So I went and got some chalkboard paint and measured out the spot and painted the door and then nailed the empty frame over it.  Yay!!  I love it and it cost 10.00 to buy the paint and I have plenty left for more projects.  Now need to figure out what to do with the spot I took the frame from, lol.  It never ends...

Accent wall redo...

So I am changing some things around in my house, again (especially the living room).  I want more color!!  The lime green walls are not bright enough, lol.  Anyways, I have been thinking and collecting for a couple of weeks, now.  I have got everything at garage sales, major clearance, trash or free reuse.  Here is a pic of my new wall!!  I am not completely done, still not enough color, but it is almost the way I want it.  Every piece has a story of a great steal I got or how I reused something old.  The antique desk is my fav part and it was a garage sale find, that I painted.  I am working on lots of other projects to change the look in my LR and bring in my desired bright colors.  Watch for more of these posts.

No sewing, just a ton of eggs!

Well, I did not get to sew today.  We were too busy doing this and stuffing ourselves full of good food and dessert and talking, of course.  Need to charge Lucy's battery, she is going to be working hard this weekend.  If the weather would clear up, I would have a shoot tomorrow:)  I also, want to get some good pics of the church on Easter Sunday for the church website - /www.newlifeworshipcenter.net .  Well, gotta go decide what to make for our first Easter get together tomorrow.  Excited to see the little ones hunting for eggs:)  See ya at church Sunday!  He Rose!!!

I can sew!! Not!

I am excited that I finally made myself a camera strap cover for "Lucy" my camera. I did the "no sew" version with the help of this blog - ourlifeisblessedbeyondmeasure.blogspot.com.  It was fun and easy!  Now I don't have to spend 20 bucks on one of these:)  I have been quite busy today getting ready for Easter and lots of laundry.  We are having a big lunch at my mom's tomorrow with my sisters, nieces and lots of kids.  The kids are going to color eggs and the adults are going to talk and eat.  I am also hoping to use a sewing machine(since I don't have one because I can't sew. LOL)  to make an insert for my purse to convert a purse to a cute camera bag. Let see if we can change the title of tomorrow's post to "I can sew!!"
